Take two slices of sourdough bread, butter one side of each, and sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese over the butter. On a warmed skillet, on the stovetop, place each butter and Parmesan cheese side down. Take 2 slices of cheddar cheese and two slices of smoked gouda and place those onto the bread slices. When the butter and Parmesan cheese side starts to get browned and the cheddar and gouda slices start to melt, put the two bread slices together. Enjoy with a warm bowl of soup.
